Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or magnification.

The standard we work to

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

  • text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios
  • every page and form works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline
  • pages have a clear heading structure, landmarks and a skip link
  • images have text alternatives, and the building cross-section diagram has a written description
  • the site respects your device’s reduced motion setting
  • text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows on small screens without sideways scrolling
  • form fields have labels, and errors are explained in words

How we tested it

On 16 October 2026 every page was checked with the axe accessibility engine against WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules, at desktop and mobile sizes, and with Google Lighthouse. No issues were found. Automated tools cannot find every problem, so we are also testing with screen readers and will update this statement with the results.
